Located at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, PEAKS Interdisciplinary Conference is a non-profit graduate conference that hosts readings, oral and poster presentations, artwork, panelists, workshops, and a notable keynote speaker. The conference is annually organized and overseen by the Graduate English Organization, whose aim is to provide students with an opportunity to showcase their hard work and research. PEAKS allows students to obtain experience in reading for a live audience, network among like-minded individuals, and interact with disciplines outside their chosen field. Presenters can also add the conference to their resume, CV, or professional profile. Graduates leave the conference with new ideas and ways of thinking, as PEAKS encourages original and personal interpretations of the provided, and often open-ended, theme. The 2020 theme is thresholds and concepts of control. Read more under the CFP.
